With a Joint Hons MA in English and Moral Philosophy, a Masters Degree in Medieval Studies, with Distinction, specialising in Ancient Art History (Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and Viking Art). Lynda has decided to finally to leave the academic world behind and focus on writing for the screen, infusing her work with the riches of her academic journey.

On leaving St. Andrews University with a Joint Hons. MA in English and Moral Philosophy, Lynda started her journey into film working at Factual Films, Nairobi, as a Production Assistant. After this she headed straight to Tulane University, New Orleans, USA, where she was offered a fee waiver to join a two-year graduate acting course – the Method, of course! 

On returning to the UK, Lynda worked as a professional dancer and actor,  it was here she found her love for writing and threw herself into the Theatre, writing many reviews for 'Time Out' Magazine. 

However, her thirst for knowledge was not over. Lynda went on to take her third and final Masters Degree in Medieval Studies, with Distinction. She taught a very wide variety of courses in a wide variety of places, eventually specialising in Ancient Art History (Anglo-Saxon, Celtic and Viking Art) at Reading University. 

Deciding finally to leave the academic world behind, Lyda began focussing on writing for the screen, Infusing her work with the riches of her academic journey. 

Her debut Feature Film is now in development with Noor Pictures and we are so excited to see her stories come to life!
